Nice to see you back and getting busy busy! I been thinkin of picking up Max myself lately, that or going back to basics with 2d... tough call.
And yeah, blogger does seem to recompress strangely, It seems to ignore png's and if you link it from photobucket. However, if its from photobucket it doesnt always resize properly, which means youve gotta do it in the html... very annoying.
Hey man, you should give max a go! Get hold of the 2010 trial or something, it has a really nice interface and there are a bunch of tutorials done by Autodesk themselves
